Position Summary:  

This position serves as an instrumental resource to support the company’s growth initiatives, including acquisition opportunities and enhancing technology and data strategy for the benefit of new and existing clients and partners. The Salesforce Data and Integration Architect  will be involved in the designing, development, testing, implementation, and user support of Salesforce data management, data migration, and integrations. Position Responsibilities:   
  • Develop and execute comprehensive integration strategies aligned with business objectives and technical requirements 
  • Gather, evaluate, and document requirements for data migration during merger and acquisition (M&A) process as well as data integration with new applications 
  • Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware solutions (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Microsoft SSIS, etc) and other integration tools to enable data exchange between Salesforce and external systems 
  • Define and implement data mapping rules and transformations to ensure accurate and consistent data flow 
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce through regular audits (including data cleaning) and optimization of data fields and object 
  • Create scalable and reusable dashboards and reports with a focus on user-friendly design and functionality 
  • Prepare flowcharts, diagrams, detailed documentation, and other written materials 
  • Assist in Salesforce administrative duties such as onboarding, offboarding, training, user support, and troubleshooting  
Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following:  

Required 
  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, architecture, data modeling, and integrations 
  • Familiarity with data security, encryption, and compliance best practices 
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Microsoft SSIS, etc), and ETL tools (Postman) 
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Loader, SOQL, and Workbench 
  • Experience with Salesforce Batch Processing, and Apex triggers 
  • Ability to build and maintain Salesforce custom fields, objects, automated flows, dashboards, and reports 
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python, and Excel complex formulas  
  • Strong proficiency with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and project management tools like Jira 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently collaboratively with cross-functional teams 
  • Effectively manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities 
  • Team player spirit with an open and positive mindset (no job is too small)

Additional Preferred Skills 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud 
  • Prior Experience with insurance data services such as DTCC Insurance & Retirement Services, ACORD and SmartOffice SmartIntegrator 
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Data Architect, Integration Architect, or Platform Developer   
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Data Cloud and Copado 
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau 
Working Conditions/Demands/Complexity:   
  • Required to work on a computer for a substantial part of the day  
  • Frequent work in the evenings and occasionally weekends, as needed to meet deadlines
